Melanie is undertaking a two month residency this autumn supported by The British Council Arts Group.

This is part of a larger project called the New Silk Road. The focus of this project is a series of residency exchanges that combine the unique craft skills from regions in Central and South Asia with the contemporary visual language of designers from the UK to help forge links between practitioners in the UK and Central and South Asia.
